In order to form a unified industry platform named as Gartex Texprocess India, the organisers of both Texprocess India and Gartex India have stepped into an alliance. This collaboration seeks to widen their portfolio and bring insightful development in the textile industry in the coming future.
The alliance will be a part of Messe Frankfurt's Texpertise Network which will leverage on the robust network and expertise of the group at global stage. The textile machinery sector in India seeks a boom of 8-10% every year which is primarily due to the capacity of India's textile manufacturing which puts it at the second position globally. India leads in both apparel consumption and export as well.
Indian apparel manufacturers are head on heels to increase their manufacturing capacities and upgrade their technology in order to meet the incremental needs of the market. Also, being the second largest exporter of textiles and clothing, India is speculated to touch $300 billion by 2024. Thereby, automation garmenting processes are seeping through the domestic market range.
Both the Texprocess and Gartex India have debuted in 2016 and have so far received positive response from the industry and have also been able to gain support from leading associations and companies in the garment and textile machinery sector.
